About the Patient Series:
“Behind Diagnoses: Patients” is a Peer Med Podcast series of the Peer Medical Foundation. Launched in 2021 and hosted by the Founder & Executive Director of the PMF, we aim to continue uplifting and amplifying Patient Voices. As a stand-alone initiative, it provides patients with the opportunity to share their insights, experiences and recommendations navigating the healthcare system.
With it’s first 12 patient stories released, there are many more lined up! If you’re interested in sharing your story or being a part of the Patient Series, Behind Diagnoses: Patients do not hesitate to contact us. We’d love to hear from patient advocates, the chronically ill, the disabled, those with rare diseases to individuals who feel invisible, and alone.
